I’ve been coaching for more than 22 years and have worked with everyone from adults building strength to young athletes and military personnel. I’m at my best helping people make fitness work alongside the demands of real life. Outside the gym, I enjoy bench pressing, swimming, running, woodworking, and building or fixing just about anything. I’m married, have two amazing kids, and an 80-pound rescue dog named Ziva. I also love races, obstacle courses, cold plunges, and nearly anything that presents a challenge.
I realized that many people don’t struggle because they’re unwilling to work—they struggle because they believe fitness has to be all or nothing. Helping someone replace that mindset with realistic habits showed me how powerful small, consistent changes can be.
I love helping people find balance and make progress without expecting perfection. Whether it’s drinking more water, staying consistent during a stressful season, or achieving a lift they never thought possible, I want people to recognize that every step forward counts.
